The National Galleries of Scotland commissioned Patricia Macdonald to make a series of blogs on environment-related themes for the Art and Artists / Features section of their website – based on some of her images held in their collections– for the lead-up to two major UN Conferences: on Climate (COP26 in Glasgow 2021) and Biodiversity (COP15 in Kunming: Part 1 (virtual) in 2021; Part 2 in August 2022). The blogs are available to view in Scottish Gaelic as well as in English.
A short video first shown in the third of these blogs (that on sea-level rise), High Water: Sea-level rise, may also be viewed in the online version of the Royal Scottish Academy’s Annual Exhibition 2022, opening on 22 April 2022, with online preview from 20 April 2022.
